5 out of 5 A great clean the first time

    Gary James Heffner

The first two hours nearly cleaned by in-ground, 26,000 gallon pool – only leaving a small area of the slope that was needing cleaning. I ran it a second time and all is well. It climbs my walls and even runs around the edge of the pool at times. Not great on the steps but I did not expect that. Easy to clean and easy to use. I just lowered it into the pool and plugged it in and hit the start button. First day so rating MAY chnage but I hope not.

5 out of 5 Cleans up after Hurricane Michael

    Dale M.

This probably exceeds the manufacturer’s warranty however after Hurricane Michael destroyed our screened pool lanai and filled the pool with metal, shingles and every type of leaf of twig imaginable, we were at a loss on how we would get the green trash filled pool clean. After pulling out the big pieces and still faced with lots of debris we took the gamble that our Dolphin Nautilus Plus would do the job. We used the spring filters and pulled the Nautilus Plus out every five minutes or so (less as it cleaned) and to our great joy, it cleaned up all of the debris in the pool. Then once we got the big stuff out we changed filters and it finished the job to a clean pool. Again, not what it was intended to do necessarily but proof that this does a great job!

    Brandon

This is a great pool cleaner! It has done a wonderful job keeping my pool clean and ready for swimming. Only complaint I have is that I am having a hard time finding a place to re-order the filters.

    Gregg Winters

4 out of 5 Fantastic Cleaning Robot- Nees a couple of improvments...

    Gregg Winters

First and foremost, this Robot will clean you pool completely and in 2 hours. Brilliant!!!

Drawbacks… Poorly designed “securing clips” to the bottom of the filter. 4 on each side of the filter to secure the bottom of it to the frame, but they are about 1/8 of an inch square, and on the “heavy dust filter” all 8 of these clips have “sheered off” during normal cleaning. Luckily, the top “s shaped” clip that secures the top of the filter are good enough to hold the filter in place even missing the bottom clips. The Display on the cleaner doesn’t actually display anything!!! Like time to end of cleaning or a quick clean feature. It just has 4 blue lights that let you set up daily, every other day, or 3 times a week cleaning, if you leave the cleaner in the pool all the time, which I don’t. I clean if after every pool cleaning. The Cleaner also has a tendency to get stuck at 45 degree angles when trying to clean stairs. I can not let it clean unattended due to this happening. After it tries to free itself off of a step at 45 degrees, I’ve frequently had to “pull it free” with a slight tug on the power chord. or it will get stuck “forever” trying to free itself, which it can’t do. Lastly wrapping the chord at the end of the cleaning on the company’s own “caddy” is difficult, because a clip you wrap the chord around at the bottom of the caddy is too short for the length of the cable, and wrapping that last “10 feet” is always a pain. All those things considered, I would buy this again in a heart beat. It does a fantastic job of cleaning every inch of your pool (Except trouble on stairs) GO BUY IT!!!!!!!!!!!!

5 out of 5 It Really Works Good

    martin lenkofsky

I purchased the Dolphin Nautilus CC Plus last year based on other reviews. Just as advertised it works really good. Easy to set-up and easy to clean after use. It does a good job on the floor and walls but not great on the steps and can’t get every crease and corner perfectly. These spots are few and easy cleaned with a brush. Overall a great product that saves time and money. Would recommend to anyone with a pool.

4 out of 5 I tried to reach Maytronics help to decide on which model I need.

    John M

Well as I stated I tried to speak with a rep., but no one ever got back to me until now over a month ago. I purchased one regardless Nautilus plus, disappointed on its waterline cleaning also I have a built in tanning deck and steps which it avoids. Spent a pretty penny wish they would’ve spoke to me when I was inquiring even now no one called only sent an email.

    Cory Bell

    5 out of 5 Couldn't be happier

    Cory Bell

I was always leery about robotic cleaners due to the higher price and how well people said they worked vs how well people would say that their suction cleaner worked just as well. Well, I’m here to tell you after owning 2 suction higher end models from Hayward and Pentair that I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. This baby way outperforms the suction cleaners I had. Plus, it gets into those areas the suction cleaners wouldn’t due to the design of my pool not being generic – it has some spots for sitting and standing that made it hard for the suction cleaners to get into. I had to brush those areas weekly and brush the walls/stairs weekly. This baby gets those areas and (I couldn’t believe it) the stairs as well. I couldn’t be happier and think it is well worth the $700. The only con I have is the requirement to pull it out of the pool after it is finished vs leaving the suction one in all the time except when swimming. This requirement is supposed to help with the life of the cleaner making it last longer. I guess time will tell how long it will last and continue to outperform.

5 out of 5 Cleans even the finest silt

    Tony Creasman

I bought this cleaner on the recommendation of a friend. He purchased the same model after having a new pool liner installed. After the liner was installed he pressure/power washed the deck around the pool. There was a lot of dirt, sand, and silt in the bottom of the pool. After two cycles the pool was absolutely clean, and the filters had all the dirt trapped inside. 5 minutes of cleaning with a garden hose and the filters were ready to go again. I would highly recommend this cleaner and hope to never have to manually vacuum my pool EVER again.

3 out of 5 Customer Service, what's that?

    Andy

So I bought this not quite two years ago, works great, this summer go to start up and nothing. Used a friends power pack and it works fine so need a warranty claim on the power pack. Email . . . Nothing. Call . . . on hold for hours. still waiting, at this rate I will just buy another power pack, but never buy another of their products again. It’s a shame because the pool cleaner works great.

    Ken

I got this not at the beginning of the summer and it made my pool so much more enjoyable this year. Climbs wall pretty well but not perfect. It just meant that once a week I needed to brush the water line and my stairs. I always leave my bot in the water when no one is in it. Can even run it underneath my solar cover. So happy about this purchase!!!

The perfect cleaning tool for any pool owner. Drop it in the water and turn it on. The machine effectively cleans all pool surfaces. We use it frequently and our pool is virtually spotless. Well worth the investment. You will wonder why you didn’t buy one sooner after the first use.

    Dave

I bought this unit and right out of the box it has issues. It runs for 7-10 min and just stops. Tried 3 times and it does the same thing every time. For the few min it does run, it doesn’t seem smart enough to navigate my steps at the shallow end. It spent most of it’s short running time finding it’s way into a corner and not being able to get out of it.

  21. Advil Josey

4 out of 5 Almost perfect

    Advil Josey

The product works perfectly. It’s something to see it climb up the sides and over the steps. The only issue I have is the rubber corners they have. I’m sure they are there to prevent damage to the pool and the robot when dealing with sharp angles in the pool. The problem is, I have a white surfaced pool and the little rubber parts leave scuff marks around and on the steps. I didn’t realize it until I saw a build up of the marks all around the edge of the steps. I need to find a resolution to this to continue using it on a frequent bases. I’m hoping the marks fade. If not, I will need to find a way to remove them without damaging the finish.

5 out of 5 The Best Robot I've Ever Owned

    John Haley

After two consecutive Aquabot robots both failed in their 2nd year I decided to give the Dolphin Nautilus CC Plus a try. It was at least 30% less costly than the Aquabots, but obviously that hadn’t made them better. I’ve been totally happy with this robot… which is now in it’s 4th year of use almost every day during the summer (my pool is surrounded by trees and gets a lot of debris). It cleans extremely well and has had no problem. The filters are very easy to clean and overall I’ve saved time in almost every way using it.

4 out of 5 Slow start, but now seems to be working fine

    Michael P. Uva

My husband and I are not completely pleased with our Maytronics (Nautilus CC Plus) Dolphin robot.

While the item seems to be working fine now, it got stuck up on our pool’s shelf seat and couldn’t get itself off.

While on its first run, the robot got stuck on the shelf for about 15 minutes while we waited to see if it would figure its situation out and correct itself. We had to pull it off the shelf and away from that end of the pool to see what it would do. It took all of another 7 minutes for it to get stuck in the same position (one side on the shelf seat and the other side leaning up against the side of the pool). It could move itself back and forth, but it just wouldn’t turn or impel itself out of that position.

Again we had to pull it off the shelf, but this time we shut it down, waited a few minutes, and started a new run. It got stuck again after about 10 minutes and we pulled it off the shelf, shut it down, waited, and started it again.

It has now made 3 successful runs of the pool without getting stuck. It has put itself up on the shelf again, but now it recognizes that it has to impel itself off the shelf after about 1 or 2 minutes.

We are very happy with how my Maytronics (Nautilus CC Plus) Dolphin robot is working so far, but we are reluctant to set it for unsupervised operation.

2 out of 5 Tire keeps coming off track

    Charles Morris

As far as cleaning goes it is the best on the market. I bought late September 2018 and afte a month the tire keeps coming off of the track, very frustrating. It became more frequent as the days of cleaning the fall leaves out of the pool. I reached out to customer support about this issue and was told I would need to send to them for repairs. UGG, Fall just started and I have tons of trees in my neighborhood. Needless to say, I did not want to seed in at this time because, that is the whole reason I bought this 750.00 equipment in September, I was wanting it for fall cleanup with all of the leaves. Now it is January 2 2019 and I feel as if I am getting the runaround about sending in for repairs. I have packaged up and I am ready to ship for 4 days now. Still no shipping label from Maytronics. Very disappointing since this is about the 4th one I have owned in 18 years.
